aims to achieve excellence in teacher preparation, and seeks to maintain its
position as a model for other programs of professional education.
The College is home to more than 300 faculty members, and has 15
academic departments. The College
is a vibrant community of faculty and students working to understand and
improve systems of teaching and learning.
Improving
educational opportunities and careers has always been a long-standing priority
for the College. Over the years,
the College has developed innovative programs of professional study that have
been emulated throughout the region.
The academic programs in the College provide opportunities for advanced study
