our website. And I hope that you will find useful information about the
department and its programs.
Mathematic
is the science of matter and energy and the interactions between them, grouped
in traditional fields such as acoustics, optics, mechanics, thermodynamics, and
electromagnetism, as well as in modern extensions including atomic and nuclear
physics, solid-state physics, etc. due to this wide variety of this science, it
has lots of applications in medicine, engineering, and industry.
The
Mathematic department at Riyadh Teacher’s College offers a bachelor of
education degree in Mathematic for elementary and middle school teachers.
Furthermore, the department has a program designed for those who have only two
years diploma to complete their bachelor. Finally, the department offers a two
years program designed to graduate lab technicians who can work at public
school’s labs.
A
study was done by ministry of education shows that there is a big need for
physics teachers and lab technicians in the following years. This creates big
job opportunity for the students who graduate from the department. In addition
to the academic field, physicists can easily find jobs in the industrial and
research field.
The
Mathematic department at Riyadh Teacher’s College has many highly qualified
faculties which help the department in fulfilling its mission in serving the
community and providing well trained and skilled teachers.
Finally,
the department is always trying to improve and develop its programs and
courses, thus any idea or suggestion helps in achieving this goal will be
greatly appreciated.
