Course Title: Computer-Assisted Drawing and Technical Design (3credits) (2+2)

Pre-requisites : 102COMP

Course Description:

      The basic aim of this course is to gain knowledge and facts related to computer-assisted drawing technologies and software. Moreover, the course attempts to provide students with practical training skills of using computer-assisted drawing software. It is expected that after completion of attending the course lectures the students will be able:

    1. To interpret correctly facts and realities of technologies and software of computer-assisted Drawing.
    2. To learn how to use computer-assisted drawing software in designing a newsletter or bulletin.
    3. To teach topics related to computer-assisted drawing and technical design in school curricula 
    4. To sort out various drawing programs and their features such as painting, Clip Arts, CAD, Charts Drawing, Flowcharting, Photoshop, Video programs, and Animations
    5. To identify different equipments used in drawing such as Graphic Cards.
    6. To identify all graphic files extensions such as JPG, BMP, TIFF, PICT, PXR, PSD, GIF, JPEG.
