Course Title: Database Programming (3credits) (2+2)

Pre-requisites: 231COMP

Course Description:

      The basic aim of this course is to help students identify the importance of database as a primary resource of development. It is expected that after completion of attending the course lectures the students will be able:

1-To interpret correctly facts related to database systems.

2-Tto know and understand database programming languages.

3-To gain skills in proogramming and designing database applications.

4-To teach topics on database systems in school curricula.

5-To identify database environment and user interface designs.

6-To design tables for data types, indexing, key field, local tables and attachment tables.

7-To input pilot data, tables, reports, queries, etc.

8-To design and program bound and unbound forms

9-To design macros, menu bars, procedures and functions of database forms.
