The Research Center at the Teachers' College seeks to achieve the following objectives:

1.      Encourage, activate and promote scientific research in the college.

2.      Motivate the staff members to prepare research studies in the fields available at the Teachers' College.

3.      Financially, fully or in part, support the research studies of the staff members, individually or collectively, and those treated like them and provide the necessary equipment and materials to carry out their research studies registered at the Center.

4.      Contribute to realizing the aim of developing the society through the scientific research approved of by the Center.

5.      Adopting the scientific research submitted by parties other than the university.

6.      Contribute to spreading the refereed research studies and facilitate access to them at the university and national libraries.

7.      Offer scientific consultations to those who need them.

8.      Prepare the research studies requested by government or private organizations.

9.      Suggest training courses, conferences, and related scientific forums.

10.  Cooperate with research centers inside and outside the Kingdom through dedicating the center's issues/publications and providing up-to-date scientific issues to promote research, higher education and postgraduate studies.

11.  Prepare refereed research studies which address the issues of development and the needs of society.

12.  Offer support and help to researchers by keeping the staff members informed of the conferences and scientific forums inside and outside the university so that they can participate in them.
